WeeklyShop Support

WeeklyShop is an iPhone app that turns your Household's Recipes into a balanced Week of main meals and the Shopping List to cook them, with a printable A4 copy. Everyone in a Household shares the same Recipes, Weeks and Shopping Lists.

Email admin@birchfieldsolutions.com with your question or problem. It helps to say which iPhone and iOS version you use and what you were doing when it went wrong. Please don't send passwords or other sensitive details.

Signing in

WeeklyShop uses Sign in with Apple only; there is no separate password. To sign out, open the Settings tab and tap Sign out.

Joining a Household

  1. Ask a Member of the Household for its Invite Code. They can find it in the Household tab and send it with Share Invite Code.
  2. Sign in to WeeklyShop. On Set up your Household, tap Join a Household.
  3. Enter the Invite Code and tap Join Household.

To start your own instead, enter a Household name and tap Create Household. You can belong to one Household at a time.

If someone has the code who shouldn't, open the Household tab and tap Get a new code. The old code stops working; people already in the Household stay in it.

Leaving a Household

  1. Open the Household tab.
  2. Tap Leave Household, read what will happen, then confirm.

You keep your account and stay signed in, and the app takes you to Set up your Household, where you can create or join a different one. If others share the Household, it stays with them, along with its Recipes, Weeks and Shopping Lists, and you can join it again with its Invite Code. If you are its last Member, the Household and everything in it is deleted. This can't be undone.

Deleting your account

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  3. Read what will be removed, tap Delete account, then confirm with Delete account again.

This removes your account, disconnects WeeklyShop from Sign in with Apple and signs you out on every device. If others share your Household, it stays with them, along with its Recipes, Weeks and Shopping Lists. If you are its last Member, the Household and everything in it is deleted too. This can't be undone.

If you can't open the app, email admin@birchfieldsolutions.com and we will help. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for WeeklyShop from your Apple ID settings on your iPhone, but that alone does not delete your WeeklyShop data.
